« GENEVA DISCO FEVER of the 90s up to now" evening in favour of the association « Le Copain »

This Saturday, June 6, 215, Sol Event will try to raise the coveted sum of 25,000 Swiss francs by organising an evening at the Pitoëff Theatre, in Plainpalais - Geneva.
The profits of the event will be donated to Le Copain,a Swiss association for the education of assistance dogs.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Le Copain, a Swiss association for the education of assistance dogs.

The amount targeted by this agency, which organises charity events, was not determined at random: it is the price of a Golden Retriever educated and trained to help people with disabilities or epilepsy.
«We hope to be able to offer a dog to someone in need. We will in any case donate the money raised to the association, even if we don't reach our financial goal», explains the organiser of the evening, Silviane Ruffier.
Food and drink sales, broadcasting of the Champions' League final and musical entertainment by Geneva DJs are on the programme.

The organiser wanted to invest herself personally in Le Copain, which she knows well. She has already been involved in projects to support them.
«I am touched by this association, which operates solely on the generosity of people," says Silviane Ruffier. The dog represents a link with the outside world and guarantees interaction for disabled people ».
Jean-Pierre Fougeiret, director of the association Le Copain, was delighted by the action undertaken.
However, the success of this beautiful initiative is a real challenge. The Genevan has not yet received the desired number of registrations for the event. Achieving the goal of welcoming enough visitors will be a «suprise» on Saturday. But Silviane Ruffier is hopeful: «People often register at the last minute»
She is considering repeating the event annually.
